One-Stop Clinic

A one-stop clinic for the treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding, including diagnostic hysteroscopy  Patients can receive expert care for heavy periods as a one-stop clinic at our Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup. 

Flexible cystoscopy and Botox for overactive bladder

The Trust offers patients another option for relief of their urinary incontinence symptoms through the use of Botox in the treatment of overactive bladder as an outpatient appointment which means they no longer need to travel to a tertiary specialist centre for this service. 

Therapeutic Hysteroscopy

Patients can now receive expert treatment for the removal of endometrial polyps at our outpatient clinic at Darent Valley Hospital, rather than having to undergo a general anaesthetic. The Myosure polypectomy procedure is incision-free and performed on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia at the Gynaecology Clinic at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford. Our clinics take place on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month by our female Gynaecology Consultant.

Referrals

Referrals can be made by GPs through the NHS e-Referral service or by a hospital consultant. Patients at risk of cancer can be referred via the two-week cancer pathway.
