At Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust we have Bronze, Silver or Gold "STAR" awards.  This is a monthly staff award.

How to nominate

If you feel that you have witnessed or recieved good service, exceptional care or assistance from a staff member you can nominate them for a STAR Award. Nominations can come from the public or a colleague.

Simply complete the form below.

To nominate a member of staff or team at there are just three criteria that must be met:

  1. The nomination has to be something that makes you feel that your colleague has gone above and beyond to help you or others (including patients).
  2. The nomination needs to be about a recent experience not something that took place years ago.
  3.  It must be about a genuine experience, something that has happened to you or you have witnessed.

Nominations can be for individuals, team, wards or departments.

After a break, the Trust is pleased to announce the launch of the Staff Thank you and Recognition (STAR) awards which will see winners receive either a bronze, silver or gold pin badge to wear, together with a certificate and a copy of the nomination for them to keep.
Those who receive gold recognition will also be invited to the annual Trust Staff Awards and will have their photo included in the DGT news and on the Trust social media channels.

Nominations will be collated at the end of each month and sent to a panel to be reviewed. Nominators will be notified of the outcomes once the panel has met.
