I qualified in 2016 with a BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Degree. When I qualified I began working in the Endoscopy department assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. I also worked on the gastroenterology ward as part of a rotation. I have always had a keen interest in gastroenterology and cancer care which led me into my role as the Upper GI HPB CNS in January 2019. I now support patients on the cancer pathway by confirming or excluding an Upper GI cancer within 28 days as part of the faster diagnosis standard and I support patients through their surgery and ongoing treatment.
