Chaplaincy volunteers visit the wards every weekday morning We visit in order to listen to you and offer our support.  We can arrange for you to be visited by one of our Chaplains if you would find that helpful.

If you are a Christian we offer Holy Communion, the Anointing of the Sick, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Prayer and Bible reading.  In every locker there are Gideon’s New Testaments. If not, please contact us and we will supply one.

If you are of another faith we can arrange access to a number of sacred texts and religious objects which you can use to help your spiritual practice. We can also put you in contact with a religious advisor of your choice.

If you consider yourself to be non-religious, we can offer pastoral support as appropriate or put you in contact with a non-religious advisor of your choice.

If you are a friend or relative of a patient and would like us to visit them whilst they are in hospital, then please contact the Chaplaincy on 01322 428100 ext. 4640.
