The Trust recognises its staff as a valuable asset, without whose skills, knowledge, support and commitment it would be impossible to provide the high quality care that is the core business of the Trust. The Trust is committed to providing excellence in clinical care to all patients using our services. The Trust also accepts that it has a legal, ethical and moral obligation to ensure that its employees are safe and competent, with the appropriate knowledge and skills to ensure the high standards of delivery of care.
In order to minimise risk to both patients and staff new employees joining the Trust are required to attend the Trust corporate induction day, complete a local induction as well as appropriate supplementary training (Conflict Resolution, Moving & Handling and Resuscitation) within two months of commencing with the Trust.
