We are a multi-site Trust and provide care for patients at Darent Valley Hospital (DVH) in Dartford and Queen Mary’s Hospital (QMH) in Sidcup.
Both of our hospital sites are smoke-free, which means that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the hospital site. Patients who are smokers will be offered Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) to support them to quit smoking.

Please be aware if travelling to Queen Mary’s Hospital by car , that the hospital is now within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and you may be required to pay a fee to drive into the ULEZ if your vehicle is non-compliant. We understand how important it is for you to keep in contact with loved ones whilst you are unwell in hospital. Please be patient whilst our visiting guidance is under regular review to ensure we keep our patients and communities safe. A flexible approach to visiting will be taken for our most vulnerable patients and their carers especially where assistance may be required with activities of daily living or communication.

There are ‘Pay As You Go’ car parking facilities, food outlets, vending machines and a number of shops inside the main entrances of our hospitals.
The restaurant on Level One at DVH is open to everyone and serves hot food at the following times:
Monday – Friday 7.15am-7.15pm
Saturday – Sunday 7.30am-5.00pm
Snackbox at QMH offers hot food at the following times:
Monday – Friday 8.00am-4.00pm
Saturday – Sunday 9.00am-4.00pm
There is an independent pharmacy in the main reception area at DVH called Chopras which is open at the following times:
Monday – Friday 9.00am-5.30pm
Saturday 10am-3.00pm
