We are delighted to announce that the Trust is now progressing with the procurement of a provider to design, build and operate a state-of-the-art nursery facility at Darent Valley Hospital.
Set to likely open its doors in 2025, the purpose-built nursery will cater for children from pre-school age upwards. The facility will be available for the children of Trust employees, with the possibility of spaces being made available to local families too.
Alexandra Bode-Tunji, Chief People Officer for the Trust, expressed her enthusiasm about the project, stating: "We are thrilled to have received the green light to start the procurement process for our new nursery. We understand the demands of managing a career and family simultaneously, and we are dedicated to supporting our staff members with childcare responsibilities."
This venture marks an important milestone for the Trust, as we continue to prioritise the well-being and support of our valued employees and their families.
