The Trust is proud to report another nomination for a national award. Neil Perry, Director of Digital Transformation (CIO)*, was selected in the 2020 Awards for the “CIO 100”. This year’s “virtual” conference recognised the most transformational and innovative CIOs in and from the UK. From those nominated, only 100 people across the UK were selected, which is an achievement in itself, but of those 100 only 4 were from the NHS, Neil being one of them.
Under Neil’s leadership the Trust has seen numerous innovative and beneficial implementations and it is good to see this has been recognised nationally. Neil says, “I see this as a DGT award in recognition of all our teams’ willingness and drive to push the boundaries and not to accept the norm as being good enough! It’s recognition for all at DGT – our digital teams and our digital clinical innovator teams like Hospital at Home, Radiology, eNoting and ePMA.”
