Six months ago Clare Abela, one of our Neonatal Sisters took up singing to help her through a difficult time and she has said it was the best thing she ever did. It calmed her anxieties and brought her smile back.
During the Christmas period Clare wanted to give her Walnut family a gift of a song to say thank you for all their support given during her mental health illness. But it became more apparent to Clare with the rise of COVID cases again, that more and more #NHS workers will be in need of wellbeing services and mental health support. So Clare come up with a plan to sing a song which became a video, with the hope of raising funds for the hospital.
Clare has dedicate this song to Walnut ward, to all staff at DGT and to all NHS workers. Clare said "You are ALL AMAZING, THANK YOU X"
