I qualified in 2009 and worked on a urology & general surgery ward at Princess Royal University Hospital before coming to Darent Valley in 2013 to work on Poplar Unit (urology & renal outpatients).
I joined the Neurology Team as an MS Specialist Nurse in April 2018, my role along with my colleague Debbie McMillan is to support people with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis or CIS (Clinically Isolated Syndrome).
We offer the following services:-
- Providing education
- Educational events for newly diagnosed patients
- Symptom management
- Advice, commencement and monitoring of disease modifying therapies
- Relapse managements
- Three outpatient clinic per week
- Ward visits
