I qualified in 1979 and worked in general medicine, gynaecology and as a Community Nurse before joining the Neurology Team at Darent Valley Hospital in December 2003. My role, along with my colleague Ola Okunowo, is to support people with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis or CIS.
We offer the following services:-
- Providing education
- Educational events for newly diagnosed
- Symptom management
- Advice, commencement and monitoring of disease modifying therapies
- Relapse management
- Three out patient clinics per week
- Ward visits
