I am an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist working as consultant at Darent Valley Hospital since 2013. I have had my training in obstetrics and gynaecology from premiere institutes in India and there after completed my specialist registrar training from East of England rotation.
Education & Training:
During the course of my training, I acquired RCOG accreditation in
- Laparoscopic surgery and hysteroscopic surgery
- Acute gynaecology and early pregnancy problems
- Gynaecology scanning and Early Pregnancy scanning
- Colposcopy
I was awarded BSGE/RCOG fellowship for gynaecology laparoscopy at the world renowned laparoscopy centre, CICE, Clermont Ferrand France. I was also awarded the European diploma in gynaecology endoscopy. In addition to seeing women with general gynaecology problems of menstrual disorders, vaginal prolapse etc, my special interests include endometriosis & chronic pelvic pain , paediatric & adolescent gynaecology and PCOS . I do gynaecology clinics, early pregnancy scanning clinics and colposcopy clinics. I do most of the procedures by laparoscopic or hysteroscopic route. I also lead the junior doctors teaching in our department and am also the deputy lead for medical students teaching.
