Do you have family or know someone who works as a pharmacist in a EEA country?

Did you know that if you are a qualified pharmacist in a EEA country you can have your pharmacy registration recognised in the UK? EEA countries include all 27 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

If you have friends or family looking for a new challenge in the UK and have a EEA recognised pharmacy qualification, they can apply for UK registration through the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

For further information about registering on the GPhC see the following link: EEA-qualified pharmacists | General Pharmaceutical Council (pharmacyregulation.org)

Additionally, pharmacists are on the UK government’s “Skilled Worker visa: shortage occupations for healthcare and education” list and will therefore qualify to apply for a Skilled Workers visa.
