Congratulations to the Trust's Macmillan Advanced/Metastatic Urology Cancer Nurse Specialist, Nicky Lancaster, who has been shortlisted for the Prostate Cancer UK's Peoples Choice Award 2023.
The Award recognises an outstanding nurse, who has made a significant difference to the lives of their prostate cancer patients. Prostate Cancer UK are sponsoring this award as part of the British Association of Urological Nurses annual conference.
All nominations for this award have come from patients, or their families who took the time to write about Nicky and how she has enhanced and made a positive impact to their experience.
The winner will be contacted in early October and then officially announced during the BAUN Annual Awards Dinner in Liverpool on Monday 20 November 2023.
There they will receive a certificate, trophy and £1,000 bursary prize to put towards their professional development.
