This week, Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust welcomed Minister of State at Department of Health and Social Care Will Quince and Dartford MP Gareth Johnson on a visit to Darent Valley Hospital.
They visited the hospital's emergency department, ambulatory emergency care, nightingale ward and theatres and met many of the incredible staff working in those areas.
Jonathan Wade, Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust CEO, said: "We were very pleased to welcome Minister Will Quince and MP Gareth Johnson to Darent Valley Hospital to be able to share the incredible work our teams are doing to improve patient flow from the moment they come in to our hospital."
Both were incredibly well informed about the wider challenges within the NHS and were impressed with the efforts by all our staff to avoid ambulance handover delays during one of the busiest periods for the NHS in its history.
