We’re delighted to share that our Estates and Facilities Team and Medirest have won Waste Management Team of the Year at the Excellence in Waste Management for the NHS in England Awards 2026 in Manchester.
The award recognises the exceptional collaborative work of waste management teams across NHS trusts, including innovation, efficiency, environmental responsibility and engagement.
Our teams have shown a strong commitment to improving waste management at DGT, while helping staff understand the importance of reducing waste, using resources responsibly and supporting a more sustainable NHS.
