The 1st June marks the first day of Pride month and to celebrate, our Trust's Executive Lead for LGBTQ+, Dr Steve Fenlon, raised our Pride flag at Darent Valley Hospital.

During Pride month, many people around the world will be waving a Pride flag to celebrate and show their support. The Pride flag is a symbol of the LGBTQ+ community and its colours represent the different communities within it.

In recognition and support of this important occasion, Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust will be taking part in various activities throughout the month, including hosting podcasts each week to share the stories of LGBTQ+ members of the DGT family - both staff and patients, celebrations in our staff marquee and not forgetting our Pride bus, which will be taking our colleagues to London's Pride March on 2nd July.

We are really looking forward to celebrating these wonderful communities over the coming weeks.
