Maternity Visiting Guidance

We welcome you to have a nominated birth partner stay with you on the ward whilst you are an inpatient.

We do not permit any swapping of birth partners past 7pm.

Between the hours of 2pm-7pm, you can have two people visit at your bedside (inclusive of your birth partner).

We kindly ask that your visitors do not visit if they have any Covid symptoms (or any other communicable disease - one that is spread from one person to another) and that they wash their hands before handling the baby.

Siblings of the baby (up to the age of 18) are welcome to visit the ward between the hours of 9am-9pm.

Siblings over the age of 18 will be subjected to the visiting policy as described above.
