Our pre-conception clinic at Darent Valley Hospital supports women who have type 1 and 2 diabetes throughout their pregnancy.
Our women will have regular appointments at our Diabetes Clinic under the care of a diabetic nurse, endocrinologist and an obstetrician and specialist midwife, if needed, plus advice and guidance from our dieticians and feeding support workers.
A joint clinic with the diabetes centre and the Obstetricians run every Friday morning alongside each other to reduce appointments.
When you arrive in Delivery suite a midwife from the Daisy team will look after you. If she is unavailable as already with a woman, your midwife looking after you can access her knowledge if required.
