Nurse Recruitment Open Evening

Date:  12th March 2020
Time: 5pm - 8pm

Venue: The Philip Farrant Centre, Darent Valley Hospital, DA2 8DA

If you are a pre-qualifying student, newly qualified or an experienced nurse and are looking to work in a vibrant, forward thinking environment, then we would love for you to come along to our open evening for the opportunity to #joinourfamily.

We have vacancies available in the following specialties; Surgery, Theatres, Adult Medicine, ITU and A&E.

This is the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our services to you, offer guided tours of our departments and show our prospective staff why we have been voted one of the ‘Best Places to Work in the NHS’ for the second year running. With our developing services and welcoming culture, we believe that working for us will be an exciting journey for you.

Attending our open day will fast track your recruitment as you will skip the shortlisting process. You will also have the opportunity to be assessed and interviewed on the night – with feedback provided instantly!

Like other NHS Trusts, we offer all employees some fantastic staff benefits and professional development opportunities, including a fast tracked internal transfer process for nurses who would like to gain experience in a different specialty. We also benefit from a great location. Whether you're attracted to the bright lights of the city or the countryside of Kent, both are within easy reach.

We fully support flexible working and embrace equality and diversity so would encourage part time applicants.

Careers within the Trust are incredibly rewarding, and thanks to positive feedback from many of our patients, are definitely worthwhile. We already have an excellent reputation, with our recent CQC visit earning us a ‘good’ rating. With your help, we intend to continue to build on it with our Journey to Outstanding #J2O.

Please submit your interest by completing an application form and we will be in touch to confirm your attendance on the day.
