Cancelling appointments / operations

If you have an appointment or operation booked at Darent Valley Hospital and you need to cancel or change it, you can do so simply by completing one of these forms:

Hospital Information

All patients who are admitted to hospital as in-patients either as emergency or elective admissions will be given the leaflet on Hospital Information for Patients.  . The leaflet communicates in 9 simple steps what patients can expect to happen from arrival to discharge.  Keeping well and those all-important useful contacts are included.  

Travel expenses

If you receive certain benefits, you may be entitled to a refund of travel costs. Entitlement rules may be subject to change over time. Eligible patients should visit the Cashiers Office on Level 2 to make a claim and for more information. Please bring proof of eligibility.

Violence & aggression

The Trust will not tolerate violence, physical aggression or verbal abuse towards their staff, patients or visitors. If this occurs, offenders will be removed from the hospital, and legal action will be taken. Criminal activity will always be referred to the police.
