Fraud is a dishonest act which is committed with the intention of making a gain or causing loss or risk of loss to another.

Typical examples of fraud:

  • Working while sick
  • Stealing property
  • Timesheet fraud
  • Fake qualifications / identity
  • Salary overpayments

Fraud specialists

The Local Counter Fraud Specialists (LCFS) for the Trust are Dave Kenealy, Cliff Cowell and Victoria Jordan, who are qualified and certified to deal with criminal investigations within the NHS, including disciplinary and civil sanctions. The service is managed by Dave Kenealy, whom is lead for the Trust.
